issues with spooler subsystem

Issue : When you try to stop or start the print spooler service you get the error ” Spooler subsystem app has encountered a problem and needs to close.”

Resolution

-This is usually caused by a third party printer driver. Either the driver is corupt or is conflicting with your system somehow. You can try to use another driver, or go to the manufactors website and see if there is an updated driver.

-Run windows update, Microsoft might have released a hot fix that has fixed this problem

-Windows update might also install a “Microsoft” version of the printer drive

-Turn off Internet Print Client : Click Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features, In the left side, Click “Turn Windows features on or off”

  1. Thank you. It is the only printer that I connected to my computer. The team is on a network with two computers, one of which has an HP printer model itself and the other a Dell, but never use the Dell or the computer is connected. What would a third party service printer driver / is? This printer has been installed for years without any problem and the message queue of the application subsystem has caused a problem and needs to close just nothing. The only thing I tried, unsuccessfully, to install the software lately is Dragon Naturally Speaking voice recognition.
