Issue : When you try to stop or start the print spooler service you get the error ” Spooler subsystem app has encountered a problem and needs to close.”
Resolution
-This is usually caused by a third party printer driver. Either the driver is corupt or is conflicting with your system somehow. You can try to use another driver, or go to the manufactors website and see if there is an updated driver.
-Run windows update, Microsoft might have released a hot fix that has fixed this problem
-Windows update might also install a “Microsoft” version of the printer drive
